Volvo Seeks Toss Of Suit Over Battery-Killing Radio Feature

Law360, Washington (October 19, 2015, 8:13 PM EDT) -- Volvo asked a New Jersey federal court Monday to throw out a putative class action accusing the company of selling vehicles with a satellite radio system that drains their batteries, arguing the problem emerged after the expiration of a car's extended warranty and there is no proof that Volvo was aware of the alleged defect.
