Verizon, Klausner Settle Patent Fight Over Voicemail

Law360 (October 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Klausner Technologies and Verizon Communications have entered into a patent license agreement, settling litigation over Verizon Wireless' Visual Voicemail service, Klausner announced Friday.

The settlement will bring to an end Klausner's lawsuit against Verizon in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Financial terms of the agreement were not made public. According to the statement, the patent license also covers the new Motorola "Krave" cell phone, unveiled on the Verizon network.
