Real Estate Rumors: Facebook, Crown, Waste Management

By Andrew McIntyre (January 11, 2016, 3:41 PM EST) -- Facebook Inc. has paid $202 million for its 57-acre Menlo Park, California, main campus, according to a report on Friday from the Silicon Valley Business Journal, citing public records. Facebook entered into a 15-year lease for the campus in 2011, and as part of that lease the company had a right to buy the property after five years, the journal said. The seller is Deutsche Bank AG, whose RREEF real estate investment arm paid $100 million for the campus in 2011, according to the report....
