Yahoo Says Web Content Doesn't Infringe OpenTV Patents

By Martin O'Sullivan (January 25, 2016, 4:50 PM EST) -- Yahoo did not infringe seven patents held by OpenTV that protect aspects of interactive videos, cybersecurity and fantasy sports platforms, the Internet giant has said in a California federal complaint.

Yahoo Inc. launched its suit Thursday to partially invalidate a patent and prove it did not infringe six other patents held by the digital technology company and its parent, Kudelski SA, which sent a letter to Yahoo in December outlining the alleged instances of infringement.
