Texas Justices OK Mexican Broadcast Defamation Suit

Law360, Dallas (February 26, 2016, 7:49 PM EST) -- The Texas Supreme Court held Friday that the state's courts have jurisdiction over a defamation case filed by a Mexican pop star against Mexican broadcasters, based on evidence they purposefully targeted content across the border to viewers in Texas.
