Apple Created Own Burden In Phone Unlock Fight, Feds Say

Law360, New York (March 10, 2016, 8:46 PM EST) -- The federal government pressed a California federal judge Thursday to uphold the court’s “modest” order requiring Apple to help unlock a mass shooting suspect’s iPhone, arguing that Apple itself manufactured any perceived hardships by making the “deliberate marketing decision” to outfit its products with unbreakable encryption.
