By Andrew McIntyre ( September 2, 2016, 1:58 PM EDT) -- Thor Equities LLC is under contract to pick up a boutique hotel in the Soho neighborhood of New York from Prudential Real Estate Investors for $70 million, The Real Deal reported on Friday, citing sources with knowledge of the matter. The firm is buying the James New York hotel, a 114-key property located at 27 Grand St. that Prudential bought for $83.4 million in 2013, according to the report.
