Law360, New York (October 7, 2016, 5:49 PM EDT) -- Fans and bars behind a multidistrict litigation alleging boxers Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao hid the latter’s shoulder injury to boost pay-per-view sales of their record-breaking 2015 bout outlined the “who, what, when, where and how” behind their claims in a California federal court filing Thursday.
Mayweather, Pacquiao, their camps and other stakeholders chalked the Central District of California MDL up as a meritless “disappointed fan” case in a September motion to dismiss. But the fans called their suit anything but meritless on Thursday, saying the boxers staged a sham fight knowing that to come clean would mean missing out...
