Judge Rules SeaWorld Can't Shed Ticket Buyers' Claims

Law360, New York (January 31, 2017, 2:57 PM EST) -- A California federal judge refused to dismiss a suit brought by consumers accusing SeaWorld Entertainment Inc. of lying about the health and treatment of its orca whales in order to induce them into purchasing tickets and merchandise, ruling Monday that the proposed class’s claims were properly pled.
