Satyam Plaintiffs Move To Consolidate Suits

Law360 (March 10, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Plaintiffs and class members in numerous securities lawsuits against Indian outsourcing company Satyam Computer Services Ltd. filed motions on Monday seeking to consolidate the cases and vying for lead plaintiff.

Nine individuals and organizations that owned Satyam shares claimed in their motions that they suffered the greatest losses of any plaintiff. The suits all allege that Satyam and its top executives violated federal securities laws by issuing false and misleading financial statements.
