Comcast Hit With Class Action Over Credit Checks

Law360, New York (April 4, 2017, 6:42 PM EDT) -- An Illinois consumer hit Comcast Corp. with a proposed class action in Illinois federal court Tuesday, alleging the cable giant ran a credit check on him and damaged his credit despite the fact that he’d paid a deposit specifically to avoid having his credit checked.
