NY AG Hits Exxon With More Subpoenas In Climate Probe

Law360, New York (May 19, 2017, 6:46 PM EDT) -- New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said Friday that his office has issued additional subpoenas to ExxonMobil in his climate change probe of the oil giant and has questioned witnesses over concerns the company is violating its duty to preserve documents relevant to the investigation.

Schneiderman and Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey each filed briefs urging a New York federal judge to nix Exxon's bid to quash their investigations over whether the company misled investors about its climate change knowledge.
