Ex-Time Warner, FCC Lawyer Joins Davis Wright Team

By Kyle Jahner (July 11, 2017, 9:10 PM EDT) -- Davis Wright Tremaine has added a former Time Warner Cable and Federal Communications Commission lawyer as a partner in its communications and cable practice groups, the firm announced Tuesday.

Cristina Chou, who joined the Washington, D.C., office, worked as vice president of regulatory affairs at Time Warner from 2008 to 2016 after serving as legal adviser to then-FCC Commissioner Robert McDowell from 2006 to 2008, among other roles in government, industry and law firms.

Danielle Frappier, chair of Davis Wright's communications practice group, said that diversity of experience made Chou an attractive addition.
