SolarCity Call Recipients Seek Court OK Of $15M TCPA Deal

Law360, New York (July 17, 2017, 1:46 PM EDT) -- A putative class alleging that members received unwanted sales calls from SolarCity Corp. in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act asked a California federal court on Friday to grant preliminary approval of a $15 million settlement agreement to end the suit.

The consumers asked the court to give its initial OK of the settlement and also asked for class certification for the purposes of the settlement, according to the motion.
