Claims Against 19 Nixed In Take-Two Backdating Suit

Law360 (April 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- At the request of a committee formed by Take-Two Interactive Software Inc.'s board, a judge has dismissed 19 defendants from a shareholder derivative suit brought on behalf of the video game firm over backdating allegations.

Judge Laura Taylor Swain of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Tuesday dismissed claims against 19 of 23 individual defendants in the suit, assigning those claims to the company, maker of the Grand Theft Auto video game series.
