Waymo, Uber Missed 'Lobotomy' Jury Instruction, Judge Says

Law360, San Francisco (November 14, 2017, 7:21 PM EST) -- A California federal judge said Tuesday that Uber and Waymo attorneys have “blown an opportunity” in their driverless car trade secret trial by failing to craft jury instructions on a vital issue in Silicon Valley: whether engineers need “a frontal lobotomy before going to their next job” or can apply what they’ve learned during prior employment.
