Judge Halts Disclosure Of Leaked Wells Fargo Customer Data

Law360, New York (August 10, 2017, 7:28 PM EDT) -- In a brusque ruling from the bench, a New York state court judge on Thursday enjoined a former Wells Fargo financial adviser from disseminating further any information that the financial firm inadvertently turned over in response to a subpoena, barking out his order and clearing the well.

Granting a motion from Wells Fargo, New York Supreme Court Judge Charles E. Ramos ordered Gary Sinderbrand to refrain from disclosing any more of the data dump that included personally identifying information of thousands of Wells Fargo Advisors LLC...
