Winston Says Netflix Can't Claim Conflict In Relativity Ch. 11

Law360 (June 26, 2018, 8:31 PM EDT) -- Winston & Strawn LLP said in New York bankruptcy court Tuesday that Netflix has signed numerous conflict waivers with the firm, rebutting the streaming giant’s allegations that the firm’s representation of Relativity Media LLC in its Chapter 11 bankruptcy case amounts to a conflict of interest and announcing it is withdrawing as counsel for Netflix in a separate patent dispute.

Winston claims Netflix signed a conflict waiver as recently as January, as it has done on several occasions dating back to 2012.
