Fox Goes To Bat Over Dodgers Broadcasting Contract

Law360, New York (September 28, 2011, 1:19 PM EDT) -- A Fox Sports Net Inc. unit on Tuesday sued to stop the Los Angeles Dodgers from selling billions of dollars' worth of broadcast rights through its Delaware bankruptcy proceedings, claiming the move breaches a contract giving the network exclusive negotiation rights.

Fox Sports Net West 2 LLC, which operates as FSN Prime Ticket, launched an adversary proceeding against the Major League Baseball team seeking an injunction under the terms of a 2001 telecast rights agreement.
