10th Circ. Backs $503M Award Following Syngenta Fee Fight
The Tenth Circuit on Tuesday affirmed the way in which a Kansas federal court allocated about $503 million in attorney fees and expense awards stemming from a Syngenta megasettlement over a GMO seed launch, ruling that the district court "thoughtfully" made the right call.

Fraud Claims Dropped Against Texas Firm In Syngenta Suit
A Kansas federal judge on Tuesday trimmed most of the claims from a revived legal malpractice suit against San Antonio-based Watts Guerra LLP and 15 other law firms, saying that the suit was not aimed at benefiting the public and that the corn farmers bringing the suit had not suffered monetary damages.
