Snowden Verifies NSA Report In EFF Spying Case

Law360 (November 6, 2018, 8:19 PM EST) -- The Electronic Frontier Foundation continues to urge a California federal court to keep alive its long-running class action against the National Security Agency over its alleged unlawful mass surveillance of Americans, helped by a declaration from whistleblower Edward Snowden in which he authenticated a key piece of evidence.

In his Oct. 31 declaration, the former NSA contractor authenticated the NSA Office of the Inspector General Draft Report, a document that discusses the mass surveillance program, known as Stellar Wind.
