Travelers Seeks To Duck Indemnity In NFL Painkillers Suit

Law360, New York (July 7, 2014, 7:39 PM EDT) -- Travelers Casualty & Surety Co. said in a lawsuit in New York state court that it should not have to defend or indemnify the National Football League in a proposed class action brought by former players alleging they were encouraged to abuse painkillers in order to play games, often at the cost of the players' long-term health.
