Northwestern Says Ex-Basketball Player Can't Prove Contract

Law360, New York (April 19, 2017, 6:34 PM EDT) -- Northwestern University earlier this week told an Illinois federal court that a former basketball player cannot prove it breached a contract to provide him with special benefits beyond a scholarship in a lawsuit against the university and the NCAA over his alleged ouster from the team.
