9th Circ. Affirms Ex-Bio-Rad GC's $8M Whistleblower Win

Law360 (February 26, 2019, 9:07 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit affirmed, to the tune of $8 million, the majority of the award a former Bio-Rad general counsel won at trial in a whistleblower retaliation suit, saying Tuesday that while there were issues with his claims under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Dodd-Frank, his California law claim was safe.
