Lands' End Uniforms Make Delta Workers Sick, Suit Says

Law360 (May 22, 2019, 7:38 PM EDT) -- Delta Air Lines Inc. employees on Wednesday hit Lands' End with a proposed class action in New York federal court, alleging that its "Passport Plum" uniforms have caused some flight attendants to fall ill and others to lose their hair. 

Flight attendants Monica DeCrescentis and Gwyneth Gilbert said that the uniforms designed by Project Runway contestant Zac Posen and made by Lands' End Inc. cause health problems ranging from headaches and breathing issues to nausea and hair loss. Additionally, the purple dye also rubs off on skin, stains bathtubs and bleeds onto sheets and towels, permanently staining them.
