UPenn Athletes To Challenge 7th Circ. Employee Ruling

Law360, New York (December 15, 2016, 5:17 PM EST) -- Two University of Pennsylvania student-athletes will ask the full Seventh Circuit on Friday to rethink its recent ruling that their participation in college sports does not make them school employees, a decision that prevented them from pursuing class action claims that they deserved minimum wage pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
