Law360 (August 17, 2020, 12:25 PM EDT) -- McDonald's former CEO Steve Easterbrook wants the Delaware Chancery Court to throw out the fast-food giant's "misleading" suit seeking to claw back severance pay and stock options because of Easterbrook's alleged lies about a sexual relationship with a subordinate.
Easterbrook filed a motion Friday asking for dismissal of a two-count suit that McDonald's Corp. launched against him earlier this month accusing him of fraud and flouting his fiduciary duties in connection with an internal probe last year over his alleged relationship with an employee.
