Allentown Mayor Can't Dodge Corruption Charges

Law360, New York (December 5, 2017, 5:27 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania federal court judge denied an attempt by the mayor of Pennsylvania’s third largest city to throw out corruption charges against him on Tuesday, ahead of his trial in January.

U.S. District Court Judge Juan R. Sanchez found that the government had provided sufficient evidence to proceed with its bribery and corruption charges against Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski and his alleged co-conspirators, Norris McLaughlin & Marcus PA attorney Scott Allinson and businessman James Hickey.
