‘Porn Troll’ Attys Escape Sanctions In Copyright Suit

Law360, New York (November 19, 2014, 2:16 PM EST) -- An Illinois federal judge Tuesday denied motions for contempt and sanctions after a defendant in a copyright case said attorneys for so-called porn troll Lightspeed Media Corp. had blocked discovery and lied about being insolvent to avoid attorneys’ fees, saying he had not presented sufficient proof.
