Tribes Want Burial Grounds Suit Paused For Deal Talks

Law360, New York (December 6, 2017, 3:12 PM EST) -- The Muscogee Creek Nation told an Alabama federal judge Tuesday that it is in talks with the Poarch Band of Creek Indians to settle a suit accusing the latter of obtaining sacred tribal burial grounds under false pretenses.
