By Greg Ryan (December 20, 2012, 6:54 PM EST) -- The NFL has added renowned litigator and Bancroft PLLC partner Paul Clement to its defense team in the multidistrict litigation filed by former players over the league's handling of concussions, as a showdown between the parties on the issue of preemption heats up.
Clement, who served as U.S. solicitor general under President George W. Bush, was listed as counsel for the NFL in a reply brief filed in Pennsylvania federal court on Monday.
