Seattle Approves Head-Tax Bill Blasted By Amazon, Starbucks

Law360 (May 17, 2018, 7:23 PM EDT) -- Seattle's Democratic Mayor Jenny Durkan said she signed a bill imposing an annual $275-per-employee tax on companies making more than $20 million a year despite strong opposition from hometown corporate giants Amazon and Starbucks.
