Receiver Seeks To Reinvest Cash From Jay Peak EB-5 Project

Law360 (February 1, 2018, 9:07 PM EST) -- The court-appointed receiver for an EB-5 project that went down in flames and was sued for fraud by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Florida federal court believes he has found a New York-based project he could sink up to $67 million into, giving investors a chance to still get their green cards.

The receiver, Michael Goldberg, requested Tuesday that the Southern District of Florida allow him to funnel a portion of a $150 million settlement secured last year from Raymond James & Associates Inc. into a development project known as One Wall Street.
