LeapFrog Agrees To $5.5M Deal In Securities Litigation

Law360 (February 26, 2018, 8:17 PM EST) -- LeapFrog Enterprises Inc. agreed to pay $5.5 million to end a proposed investor class action alleging the children’s educational game maker hid demand and inventory problems that later led to losses for investors, according to a proposed settlement filed Friday in California federal court.

Investors had alleged that LeapFrog and its CEO and chief financial officer had painted a rosier-than-warranted picture of the company’s earnings expectations and other financial matters, court records show.
