MSG Networks Adds 4 NHL Teams To Livestream Service

By Matthew Perlman (February 3, 2017, 3:25 PM EST) -- MSG Networks Inc. said that it has reached an agreement with the National Hockey League to stream games played by four teams, following on similar deals made by other regional sports networks.

MSG Networks already broadcasts New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders and Buffalo Sabres games on its MSG and MSG+ television channels, but will now carry them on its livestreaming service MSG GO, according to a statement Wednesday announcing the deal.

The NHL's executive vice president for media and international strategy, David Proper, praised the agreement, and said it's important to give the fans what they want....
