United Airlines Staff Dropped, Hurt Disabled Flyer, Jury Told

By Michelle Casady (January 14, 2019, 8:14 PM EST) -- Attorneys for a woman who alleges that United Airlines contract employees dropped her while moving her from a wheelchair to her seat on an airplane in Houston told a federal jury on Monday that it would hear evidence that the airline covered up the incident.

Those comments came during opening statements in U.S. District Judge David Hittner's courtroom, in a lawsuit in which Erica Fulton alleges that negligently trained staff from United Airlines and a contractor, Air Serv Corp., caused her serious injuries.
