Tillerson Tries To Draw Hard Line On Russia

Law360, Washington (January 11, 2017, 3:09 PM EST) -- Rex Tillerson, Donald Trump’s nominee for secretary of state, took a hard stance against Russian aggression in his opening statement seeking Senate confirmation Wednesday but later refused to directly call Russian President Vladimir Putin a war criminal or to stand by sanctions imposed over Russia's alleged election interference.
