Calif. Man Pleads Guilty To Scamming Verizon

Law360, Washington (November 19, 2015, 5:30 PM EST) -- A California man accused of duping Verizon Wireless Inc. into providing him more than 30,000 discounted iPhones that were then sold overseas pled guilty Wednesday to a wire fraud charge, part of a plea deal with prosecutors in which he agrees to an eight-year sentence.
