New York City's Climate Suit Against Big Oil Thrown Out

Law360 (July 19, 2018, 3:21 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Thursday nixed New York City's suit seeking to hold ExxonMobil, BP and other oil giants accountable for climate change-related infrastructure damage, saying that the Big Apple's state-law claims are trumped by federal law.
