Plaintiffs File Consolidated Complaint In IPhone MDL

Law360, New York (October 22, 2009, 2:22 PM EDT) -- Plaintiffs in the multidistrict litigation alleging that Apple Inc.’s iPhone 3G underperforms on AT&T Mobility LLC’s 3G data network have filed a consolidated complaint accusing the technology giant of fraud and negligence, and of violating a number of state consumer protection statutes.

Following consolidation of 12 putative class actions by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation on July 1, the plaintiffs filed an amended complaint Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Wednesday.
