Priceline To Appeal $336M Currency Fee Deal

Law360, New York (November 23, 2009, 5:17 PM EST) -- Inc. is appealing the approval of a $336 million settlement in an antitrust case accusing the nation's largest credit card companies and retail banks of colluding to fix fees for foreign currency conversion.

The Web-based travel agency filed a notice of appeal Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York indicating its intent to appeal final judgment in the case, including an Oct. 22 order approving the settlement.
