Atty Klayman A No-Show After Accusing SDNY Judge Of Bias

Law360, New York (May 6, 2021, 12:25 PM EDT) -- A Manhattan federal judge said Thursday he'll require follow-up in politician Roy Moore's defamation suit against comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, after Moore's lawyer, Larry Klayman, did not appear for a scheduled hearing to address Klayman's request for a new judge.

"We have a good number of people on the line. Unfortunately it doesn't sound like plaintiff's counsel is one of them," U.S. District Judge John P. Cronan said some 20 minutes after a morning hearing to discuss Klayman's request for him to bow out was supposed to have begun.
