NYC Nixes Board's Depositions In Ground Zero Suits

Law360, New York (December 9, 2009, 7:38 PM EST) -- A federal judge has ruled that former firefighters and police officers suing New York City over toxic exposures at Ground Zero are free to depose their treating physicians regarding their respiratory illnesses but cannot do so with the medical board doctors that awarded their disability retirement pensions.
