NFL Vet Brown Wants Replay In EA Licensing Fight

Law360, New York (July 7, 2010, 6:02 PM EDT) -- Former NFL Hall of Famer Jim Brown on Wednesday beefed up his appeal of a decision dismissing a lawsuit claiming that Electronic Arts Inc. misappropriated his likeness in its popular Madden NFL video game series.

Brown filed an opening brief in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, claiming that Judge Florence-Marie Cooper of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California “erroneously” dismissed the case in September.
