Army Role-Playing Trainers Win FLSA Class Cert.

Law360, New York (September 30, 2010, 2:58 PM EDT) -- A group of workers who helped train U.S. Army National Guard members at the Fort Dix, Texas, military base have won conditional certification for their collective action alleging their independent contractor employers failed to pay them appropriate overtime wages.

Judge Joseph E. Irenas granted conditional collective certification to the plaintiffs in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on Wednesday.
