Starbucks Baristas Fight Toss Of Tip-Sharing Action

Law360, New York (December 6, 2010, 7:33 PM EST) -- Two former Starbucks Corp. baristas in New York are appealing the dismissal and accompanying denial of class certification of their suit accusing the java giant of violating state wage laws by enforcing a policy of splitting the servers' tip pool with shift supervisors.
