Buses, Trains Targeted In Vehicle Tracking IP Suit

Law360, New York (March 18, 2011, 2:54 PM EDT) -- Melvino Technologies Ltd. and ArrivalStar SA accused public transportation systems in Seattle and New York City this week of infringing patents related to vehicle tracking technology.

Melvino, the patents' owner, and ArrivalStar, the patents' licensee, filed lawsuits in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the Western District of Washington. The Washington complaint was filed Thursday and the one in New York on Wednesday.
