SunCal's Contract Claims Preserved In Calif. City Dispute

Law360, New York (October 25, 2011, 7:38 PM EDT) -- The city of Alameda, Calif., lost a bid Friday to dismiss claims that it breached a contract with real estate developer SunCal for a master-planned community on the site of a former naval base, while the city's then-planner succeeded in shaking fraud claims.
