23-Story, $172M Marriott Tower Planned For Downtown LA

Law360, New York (March 28, 2012, 4:46 PM EDT) -- Real estate developers Williams/Dame & Associates and American Life Inc. plan to break ground this spring on a $172 million, two-hotel tower in downtown Los Angeles, a larger and pricier project than previously had been projected for the Olympic Boulevard site, the team said Wednesday.

The 23-story tower will house a 174-room Courtyard by Marriott and a 218-room Residence Inn by Marriott, covering about 373,000 square feet, including 11,754 square feet of meeting space and 5,100 square feet set aside for a restaurant.
