Calif. Judge Axes Indirect State Claims In LCD Antitrust MDL

Law360, New York (August 28, 2012, 2:36 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Monday dismissed part of multidistrict litigation alleging that Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and other electronics makers fixed liquid crystal display prices, ruling that indirect purchasers could assert state law claims only where they allegedly paid higher prices.
